At first I thought the Mullahs might have made good on their vow to avenge the death of the Ayatollah, as this Senator, like his good friend John McCain, never saw a war he didn’t like, particularly when the bombed party was Iran. But I figured their vow was kind of like the “Death to America” we often hear from them, which is not so much a threat as it is more like “We hope they die.” If it was the Iranians, Cheetoh Jesus would no doubt up the ops tempo over Iran. I guess we will see, since they reported the Senator died in the District of Corruption1.

Then I read he was in Ukraine as recently the 10th of July before returning home and dying on the evening of the 11th. Things that make one say, “Hmmm?”

I’ve done the transatlantic flight frequently in my many years, and it can take a bit out of a gentleman of a certain age. If the Senator was already suffering an illness, or if he simply didn’t hydrate enough and didn’t do a little walking on the long flight (Which is not hard to do on a SAM flight, because you can be certain that US Senators don’t get Economy-style seating), it might be enough to trigger a heart-stopping clot.

Then again, he was in Keeeeeev, which was hit heavily by Russia on the “evening” of the 11th. In Keeeeeev one day2, dead the next. Hmmmm. If he did end up on the business end of a Zircon or Iskander, it would mean he was someplace he shouldn’t be, like ten Senior NATO officers the week before3. That’s something TPTB would not admit, for a number of reasons.

Aside from stridently demanding the US should take on Russia to deny it access to Ukraine’s $10 to $13 Trillion of resources we could use56, he was a RINO squish who tried for years to get amnesty for the millions of illegals before giving up on the cause because the Biden Regime had totally polluted the pool of potential recipients7.
